World Online Slimming Club also offers a slimming magazine, although
the Slimming World magazine is part of Slimming World's extensive
marketing campaign, the magazine does offer some interesting slimming
information. The magazine offers some real life testimonials, as well
as, delectable slimming recipes, exercise information, healthy diet
plans etc.
Slimming World's Smiles Program
In 1996 members, Consultants and employees of Slimming World made a tremendous effort to raise money for charity. When a cheque for an incredible half a million pounds was handed to Marie Curie Cancer Care, our Founder and Chairman, Margaret Miles-Bramwell was inspired to register Slimming World’s very own charity to continue to help others. In 1997, SMILES was born.

In 2005, SMILES will again be raising money for The
National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and

specializes in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to
children.

The Slimming World members vote for their group Woman of the Year.
The winner is announced in group during this week. Winners from each Slimming World group will go through to the semi-finals in October. |
| 23rd October | Woman of the Year Semi-Finals | To be held at Slimming World Head Office.Winners from the semi-finals will go through to a national final in November. |
| 12th November | Woman of the Year National Finals | The winner from ten finalists is announced at the Slimming World Awards Ceremony, which is held at the ICC in Birmingham. |
| 21st November | Miss Slinky Group Finals | Slimming
World members vote for their group Miss Slinky. The Group
Finalists are announced during this week. Winners from each Slimming World group will go through to a national final in January. |
| 1st January | Miss Slinky National Finals | The national winner of the Miss Slinky competition is announced by Slimming World Head Office. |
